DigiD is a collective system with which government institutions in the Netherlands can use to verify your identity online and enables you to access the electronic services of an increasing number of government institutions with a single username and password. When you are a resident of the Netherlands, you can only submit an enrolment application if you use DigiD. Make sure to apply for your DigiD on time. If you are not an official resident of the Netherlands you must create an account first. Students who are not currently residing in the Netherlands do not need a DigiD to apply.

Apply for your DigiD at www.digid.nl. Make sure that you have your Citizen Service Number (BSN) at hand.

NOTE: It will take approximately five days before your DigiD log-in details are sent to your home address. Make sure you have applied for your DigiD and activated this well in advance of the application deadlines for the master's and bachelor's programmes. You will not be able to apply for admission after this date.
