Applicants with a bachelor's degree from a Dutch research university (WO) must have a minimum GPA of 7.0. Applicants from a Dutch university of applied sciences (HBO) must have a minimum GPA of 7.3.
For MSc Finance & Investments, the minimum GPA for applicants with a Dutch WO bachelor's degree is 7.3.
Additional grades obtained at a Dutch higher education institution during a second bachelor degree, premaster, master programme, or extra minor, may be included in your GPA calculation if this benefits you. A GMAT score cannot compensate for an insufficient GPA.
If your GPA is not sufficient when you apply, you can still apply for most MSc programmes. Your GPA must meet the minimum requirement by 31 August or, for programmes with a maximum capacity, before the programme reaches its maximum capacity.
Different rules apply to our selective programmes:
- For MSc Finance & Investments, your GPA must be sufficient by the application deadline of 31 October.
- For MSc International Management / CEMS, your GPA must be sufficient by the application deadline of 31 January.
Applicants to these two programmes are ranked based on GPA, so meeting the minimum requirement does not guarantee admission.
